Gillespie Accepts McDonnell Endorsement Three Days After Slamming McDonnell’s Signature Transportation Plan

Ed Gillespie has been a busy guy the past few days.

On Thursday, Gillespie rolled out his tax plan that will benefit Virginia’s wealthy.

On Friday, his schedule was jam packed slamming Bob McDonnell’s signature tax plan.

Yesterday, Gillespie was quick to praise Bob McDonnell’s tenure in Virginia when accepting McDonnell’s endorsement.

So, where exactly does Ed Gillespie stand on Bob McDonnell and what is known as Virginia’s most expansive transportation achievement?

“Which Ed Gillespie should Virginians expect as governor? An Ed that will slam a plan that supported Virginia's infrastructure, or an Ed that only does what his politically convenient when the time is right for him?” said DPVA spokeswoman Christina Freundlich. “The reality is that flip-flop Ed is the cookie cutter Washington Republican that only serves what is best for himself and his political career, instead of serving Virginians. Virginians can’t have a flip-flopper like Ed Gillespie in the Governor’s mansion.”
