Richmond -- This upcoming Labor Day weekend, Governor Terry McAuliffe, First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe, DNC Chair Tom Perez, and DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker will campaign across the commonwealth for the 2017 Democratic ticket. Democrats across the commonwealth will be honoring working families and organized labor this holiday weekend.
Governor McAuliffe, First Lady McAuliffe, Chair Perez and Chairwoman Swecker will be traveling across Virginia to discuss Democrats’ plans to build an economy that works for all Virginians -- no matter who you are or where you’re from, and will be campaigning on behalf of Ralph Northam, Justin Fairfax and Attorney General Mark Herring. As governor, Ralph will strengthen and protect Virginia’s workforce and will make it a top priority to ensure that every Virginian who wants a good-paying job has the skills they need to fulfill the new collar jobs of tomorrow.
