Gillespie: I want to have everybody who’s willing to help me come in and help. You know, this is going to be a tough race and so obviously help from President Trump, Vice President Pence, I’m happy to have all the help I can get.

Despite asking Trump for help for his own political ambitions, Gillespie still remains silent on Trump leaking classified information to Russia, and dodged commenting on Trump’s dangerous move to interfere with the FBI’s investigation into the possible collusion with Russia during the election.

“Now Virginians know that a vote for Gillespie is a vote to bring Donald Trump and his administration’s agenda to Virginia.” said DPVA spokeswoman Christina Freundlich.
