Richmond, Va. -- On Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1, the Democratic Party of Virginia Coordinated Campaign will host its third statewide Weekend of Action of the general election. Community leaders, grassroots organizers and volunteers will canvass local neighborhoods and hold phone banks to urge Virginians to vote for Democrats up and down the ticket in November.

Today, the Democratic Party of Virginia also launched a new website, “Vote VA”, enabling people to see and register for coordinated events across the commonwealth. Once users enter their zip codes, an interactive map will be populated with localized events.

The entire statewide Democratic ticket, along with House of Delegate candidates, Governor Terry McAuliffe, Congressman Don McEachin and Pam Northam will join volunteers to kick off events as Virginians head into the final weeks of the campaign.

Volunteers who are interested in signing up or finding a local event in their area can do so here.
