Richmond, Virginia – In a decision that he will live with for the rest of his life, Governor Glenn Youngkin has endorsed the former President and currently indicted defendant Donald Trump as the person he wants to lead our American families for another four years. DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker released the following statement in response to the endorsement:
“To see Glenn Youngkin endorse a man who called the Nazis that came to our very own Charlottesville ‘very fine people’ is more proof of his lack of political courage and leadership ability. Leaders stand up to what’s wrong, they speak out, they do what is right for the people, they don’t sell out for their own future. What is so sad is that a man who cares deeply about his legacy now knows when they write the story of his life, every one will begin with these words: what the hell was he thinking?” DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker said.
