RICHMOND, VA - The silence of Representatives Barbara Comstock (VA-10), Dave Brat (VA-07), and Scott Taylor (VA-02) on whether they'll campaign with GOP standard-bearer Corey Stewart has officially become a drag on their already endangered re-election efforts. Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball just gave Virginia Democrats a major boost as they've shifted upgraded the Democratic ratings in VA-10, VA-07, and VA-02.

As Comstock, Brat, and Taylor fail to muster the courage to reject Stewart, highly-regarded and well-financed Democrats Jennifer Wexton (VA-10), Abigail Spanberger (VA-07), and Elaine Luria (VA-02) are quickly gaining momentum against their Corey-dodging opponents.

DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker welcomed the Democratic momentum and once again called on Virginia Republicans in Congress to tell their constituents where they stand on Corey Stewart.

"Voters know where Jennifer Wexton, Abigail Spanberger, and Elaine Luria stand. The same cannot be said for Barbara Comstock, Dave Brat, and Scott Taylor. While they have attempted to claim the right to remain silent on Corey Stewart, their lack of courage is not going unnoticed by Virginians."
