“DPVA congratulates Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Martin O’Malley for their hard fought races leading up to the Iowa Caucus. Democrats have shown an unwavering commitment to fighting for the issues that matter to Virginians the most, and it’s clear that whoever wins the Democratic nomination will fight to move our nation forward.

“Meanwhile, the raging Republican civil war has diverted attention away from Ted Cruz’s dangerous policies. Like Senator Dick Black and Ken Cuccinelli who endorse him, Cruz's far-right agenda harms middle class Virginians, infringes upon women’s access to health care, and disrupts foreign relations. It’s clearer than ever that Democratic candidates have the policies and experience necessary to become the next President of the United States.”
