The 6th House District Committee is seeking a Democratic nominee for the ensuing election to occur on November 5, 2019. Anyone interested in becoming the Democratic nominee must file their intention along with a filing fee with the the Chairperson of their respective county Democratic Committee in the 6th District by May 25 by 5:00 PM. A candidate must at a minimum be a registered voter in the district, is a Democrat and agrees to the Principles of the Democratic Party. A caucus is scheduled for May 29 to nominate the Democratic Candidate depending on the number of interested candidates with details provided yo the candidate or candidates that file in a timely manner..
