Following the rulings by the 4th Congressional District Committee and the Steering Committee of the Democratic Party of Virginia, the Richmond City Democratic Committee will hold a new reorganization caucus and election of officers for the 2018/2019 reorganization cycle.

The Richmond City Democratic Committee, herein referred to as RCDC, will hold an assembled caucus on Saturday, July 28th, 2018, from 12:00PM-3:00PM at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School (1000 Mosby St, Richmond, VA 23223) for the purpose of electing the new membership of RCDC pursuant to the Democratic Party of Virginia Party Plan.
I. Candidate Filing: Each person seeking to become a member of RCDC shall complete and return the RCDC Membership Filing Form to the Democratic Party of Virginia by Thursday, July 26th at 12:00PM.
Membership Filing Forms can be mailed to the Democratic Party of Virginia office at 919 E Main St. Suite. 2050, Richmond, VA 23219, and should be directed to the DPVA Political Department. All mail must be received before Thursday, July 26th at 12:00PM.
Only those candidates who have timely and properly filed the Pre-Filing form will have their names placed in contention. Additionally, candidates may file through the online form at vademocrats.org/rcdc. Only those applications submitted before Thursday, July 26th at 12:00PM. All applications already received since July 8th will be counted.
There shall be no filing fee for any membership candidates.
