He focused on bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community served. He has received recognition from both the private and professional sectors for his selfless acts and service. As Sheriff, Hash has focused on increased opportunities for residents, formally known as inmates. This is evidenced by the creation of (R)IGNITE: Residents Individually Growing Naturally & Intentionally through Education. Additionally, he has expanded the ability for deputies to participate in training and create processes for the betterment of the agency. He is a Sheriff who continues to pursue evidence-based initiatives focused on improving the skills required in the 21st century. In conjunction with focusing on the needs of the agency, Sheriff Hash has broadened the agency’s involvement in the community through both the creation of the Law Enforcement and Community Engagement divisions.
