Sears in her own words is “morally opposed” to same-sex marriage
VIRGINIA – Ahead of the June 17 primary in Virginia, the Democratic Party of Virginia is continuing to highlight the top five reasons Winsome Earle-Sears is too extreme to lead the Commonwealth.
Today is a reminder that Sears in her own words is “morally opposed” to same-sex marriage and has an extreme record opposing LGBTQ rights.
“Winsome Earle-Sears’ extreme record of opposing same-sex marriage is out of step with the overwhelming majority of Virginians. Virginians deserve a leader who will fight for them instead of rolling back rights,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
