Richmond, VA — This weekend, Glenn Youngkin joined his top right-wing ally Amanda Chase behind closed doors at the Family Foundation gala to share his true, extreme agenda that will ban abortion and take the Commonwealth backwards. Youngkin spent his weekend making promises to his closest allies behind closed doors, campaigning with Amanda Chase and welcoming the support of the extreme Family Foundation.
Just like Glenn, his allies at the Family Foundation want to ban the right to choose in Virginia, oppose same-sex marriage and recently published an article in support of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. The Family Foundation also publicly defended Youngkin after he said he wants to ‘go on offense’ to ban abortion in Virginia.
The Family Foundation also opposes vaccine requirements for colleges and universities just like Glenn, even though a recent Fox News poll found an overwhelming majority of Virginians support vaccine mandates in the Commonwealth.
Youngkin and Chase were also joined by Kayleigh McEnany, who worked to overturn the 2020 election and continues to be a proponent of the Trump election conspiracies which Glenn has built his entire campaign on. Youngkin launched his campaign with an “election integrity task force,” which he has called the “most important issue” in this campaign.
"It is when campaigning behind closed doors with Amanda Chase and the far-right, anti-choice Family Foundation that Glenn shows Virginians exactly who he is," said DPVA spokesman Manuel Bonder. "Youngkin has made it clear: he is all in on banning abortion, defunding Planned Parenthood, and dragging the Commonwealth backwards with his right wing agenda. Glenn Youngkin is too extreme and too dangerous for Virginia."
