NBC 4: Trump administration begins laying off more than 4,000 federal workers amid government shutdown, court filing shows
VIRGINIA – As Donald Trump fires even more Virginians during his government shutdown, Winsome Earle-Sears continues to back the job cuts and refuses to call on Trump to stop attacking the Commonwealth’s economy. This follows months of Sears downplaying and dismissing the attacks on Virginia jobs that have been devastating for Virginians.
“As more Virginians lose their jobs through no fault of their own, Winsome Earle-Sears continues to back Donald Trump’s attacks on Virginia workers as he enacts DOGE 2.0. Sears must explain to Virginians why she always puts her loyalty to Trump ahead of the good of the Commonwealth,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
