VIRGINIA – During an interview with Richmond’s 8News, when asked if she would protect marriage equality in the Commonwealth, Winsome Earle-Sears refused to support marriage equality. Sears was recently exposed for leaving a note on legislation protecting marriage equality that she’s “morally opposed” to the bill.
“Winsome Earle-Sears knows that her extreme record of opposing marriage equality is out of step with Virginians and now she’s dodging questions about it. Sears owes Virginians clear answers about her moral opposition to marriage equality,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
