Tick Tock: Governor Youngkin is only at .6% towards reaching his own projected goal

Richmond, VA –Today, the Democratic Party of Virginia is holding Governor Youngkin to his word and has published the www.youngkinjobsreport.com to track Governor Youngkin's pledge that he would create 400,000 jobs during his term. 

To meet that goal, he should have already created 29,167 jobs by April and so far has only created 2,525 towards his goal. This means that Governor Youngkin is only at a disappointing .6% of the way to his 400,000 jobs goal.

“The Governor promised Virginians that he would create 400,000 jobs and is nowhere close,” said DPVA spokesperson Gianni Snidle “So far this is just another one of his empty promises. Governor, maybe it’s time to put the basketball down and get to work.”
