Richmond, VA – Chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Virginia, Susan Swecker, released the following statement on the Richmond Times-Dispatch report that Governor Youngkin’s political advertising firm was awarded hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to produce a campaign-style video for the governor.  

“There are ethical - and possible criminal - implications for Glenn Youngkin’s limited-bid scheme to use taxpayer dollars to pay his political advertising company to produce what is basically a presidential campaign video. We have seen serious violations by this administration, but this rises to a whole new level. This breach of the public trust demands an immediate investigation by law enforcement and/or the appropriate investigative authorities.”
