DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker shared the following statement on the passing of longtime Virginia lawmaker and former Richmond Mayor Henry Marsh:

Henry Marsh was a larger than life figure. I first met him when I was a legislative aide in Richmond, and like he was to so many, he became a mentor, a confidant, and a friend. I will remember him for his kindness, his commitment to public service, and the many paths he forged for those who followed in his footsteps. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
