"It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to Onzlee Ware, a stalwart champion of progress and a beloved leader in Virginia politics," Swecker said. "As a former legislator, esteemed judge, and former chair of the 6th Congressional District Democratic Committee, Onzlee's impact on our community was immeasurable. His dedication to grassroots organizing and his tireless efforts in running strong GOTV operations will be fondly remembered. Onzlee's legacy of service exemplifies the best of Virginia's democratic spirit. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his remarkable life. Rest in power, Onzlee Ware."
