The Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) Chairwoman Susan Swecker released the following statement in response to leaked audio of Donald Trump's outrageous comments towards women:  

"Talking about committing sexual assault is not locker room banter - it's disgusting, rude and vile, and it is impossible for anyone with common decency to be associated with the man who said it, and believes it.

"Virginia Republicans have a choice:  support a man who brags about sexual assault, demeans women, and takes us back in time - or stand up for women and basic human decency.

"And before you make that choice we ask you one simple question: how will you explain this to your wives and mothers, sisters and daughters...what will you tell your children?

"The ball is in your court, Virginia Republicans. Do the right thing. For your party, for Virginia, for our country, and for all our children."
