This week, Sears refused to comment on her extreme record on abortion

VIRGINIA – Yesterday, new reporting from Virginia Scope highlighted Winsome Earle-Sears’ dangerous record on abortion and contraception including her support of an extreme abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest and her recent tie-breaking vote against the Right to Contraception Act. 

Continuing her ongoing pattern of dodging the media, Sears declined to comment. Winsome Earle-Sears owes Virginians answers about her record opposing reproductive rights.

• Why do you support an extreme near-total abortion ban in Virginia without exceptions for rape or incest? 
• Why did you vote against legislation that would guarantee Virginians access to contraception and birth control? 
• Why are you doing everything in your power to end abortion in Virginia? 
• Why won’t you give Virginians the answers they deserve?
