VIRGINIA – Following an interview with CNN where Winsome Earle-Sears outright lied saying “there are no Virginians who are going to lose Medicaid coverage in Virginia” as 350,000 Virginians are expected to lose healthcare due to the Trump tax bill Sears backs, Sears owes Virginians answers. 
 
“Virginians deserve an explanation from Winsome Earle-Sears about why she continues to lie about the Medicaid cuts she backs,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
 
Questions Sears Must Answer: 

• Why are you lying about the healthcare cuts you back that will hurt 350,000 Virginians? 
• Why don’t you care that 350,000 Virginians will lose healthcare because of legislation you backed? 
•  Why do you think the Trump tax bill does “so many great things” when it will cause hundreds of thousands of Virginians to lose healthcare coverage?
