VIRGINIA - In a new CNN interview today, when asked if she supports Donald Trump’s attacks on Virginia’s jobs, Winsome Earle-Sears refused to answer the question, instead saying she wants “to talk about real issues.”
“Winsome Earle-Sears just admitted to Virginians that she doesn’t think people losing their jobs and paychecks is a ‘real issue.’ This is just another example of Sears defending Trump’s reckless agenda at the expense of Virginia’s workforce and economy, even saying she doesn’t understand why it’s a ‘huge, huge thing.’ She’s shown us who she is, and it’s clear she’s not capable of leading the Commonwealth,” said DPVA Communications Director Kelsey Carolan.
MANU RAJU: I was just curious if you supported the president’s purge of the federal workforce, that’s all, I didn’t get a clear answer on that.
SEARS: I am giving you a clear answer, but you don’t want to hear my clear answer because it’s common sense.
RAJU: So do you support the president’s purge of the federal workforce? Yes or no?
SEARS: Okay, if this is the way you want to go, then go ahead, but I’m just not going to participate, because I want to talk about real issues [...]
