Sears: “Oh you mean it’s not unusual? It happens all the time… And the media is making it out to be a huge, huge thing, and I don’t understand why”
VIRGINIA – Winsome Earle-Sears can’t escape the audio first reported by Meidas Touch where she downplays and dismisses the attacks on Virginia jobs saying “the media is making it out to be a huge, huge thing… and I don’t understand why.” This week, Virginia Democrats released a new ad highlighting Sears’ comments.
“As thousands of Virginians face layoffs, Winsome Earle-Sears continues to downplay and dismiss attacks on Virginia jobs. The Commonwealth deserves a leader who will fight for them instead of cheering these attacks on,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
