Today, Virginia Republicans are holding a joint hearing on the upcoming election with the goal of ginning up enthusiasm for their attempts to limit participation in our democracy.

What is this really about?

• Political grandstanding aimed at discrediting the election before it happens;
• Effort to distract from the fact that they are bereft of ideas to make Virginians' lives better; and
• Continuation of their efforts to harass, intimidate, and discourage voter participation in our democracy.
