Abigail Spanberger has called on Sears to cancel the event
 

VIRGINIA  – Ahead of Winsome Earle-Sears’ campaign event Friday with out-of-state billionaire and chief DOGE architect Vivek Ramaswamy, Sears owes Virginians answers about why she’s so proud to have the support of the man responsible for firing thousands of Virginians and hurting the Commonwealth’s economy. 
 
Instead of standing up for Virginia, Sears has said she would help Trump “get the job done” and that she’s “supporting what the President is doing.” She previously was caught on tape saying: “the media is making it out to be a huge, huge thing… and I don’t understand why” and during a CNN interview, when asked if she supports Donald Trump’s job cuts, Winsome Earle-Sears refused to answer and dismissed them, saying she wants “to talk about real issues” instead.
 
Questions Sears Must Answer: 

• Why are you campaigning with DOGE architect Vivek Ramaswamy who is responsible for firing thousands of Virginians? 
• Why won’t you apologize to Virginians for the thousands of firings you backed? 
• Do you think DOGE has been good for Virginia’s economy?
• Do you still think firing thousands of Virginians isn’t a “huge thing”?
• Will you finally acknowledge that DOGE and the firing of thousands of Virginians is one of the “real issues” you should talk about?
