VIRGINIA – During this week’s Virginia Press Room Podcast, Virginia Mercury reporter Charlotte Woods explained how Winsome Earle-Sears cancelled a sit down interview on her record at the last minute and then refused to follow up after she agreed to the discussion:
“Sears we didn't get to – She did lock down a date. I was across town for a different interview. I'm in my car, [...] and then I got a call from my boss saying, “Don't bother coming into the office today if you don't want to. She just pulled out” and she didn't respond to follow up.”
Questions Sears Must Answer After Skipping Out on an Interview About Her Record:
- Why do you think health clinics closing in Virginia is a “great thing”? Why are you lying to Virginians about losing healthcare coverage?
- Why do you think that Trump’s job cuts and Virginians being fired aren’t “real issues”? Why are you backing his cuts that hurt Virginians?
- Why do you support an extreme near-total abortion ban in Virginia without exceptions for rape or incest?
- Why do you support letting Virginians get fired for being gay?
