RICHMOND - As U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Andrew Wheeler visits Suffolk, VA on Tuesday, Press Secretary for the Virginia Democratic Party Hannah Muldavin released the following statement: 

“As we witness the devastating effects of climate change across the country through wildfires, hurricanes, and flooding that Virginians have experienced directly in Hampton Roads, President Trump and former oil lobbyist Andrew Wheeler have blatantly ignored the science in order to boost the fossil fuel industry every step of the way, even at the cost of American jobs. We need a president like Joe Biden who believes in science and who has a plan to build back the middle class with good-paying clean energy jobs that will preserve our planet for generations to come.”
