Will Virginia Republicans Condemn Trump’s Latest Call to Violence?

by Democratic Party of Virginia

Yesterday, Donald Trump made comments alluding to acts of violence against Hillary Clinton, stating that her bodyguards should disarm and "let's see what happens to her."

This is the latest in Donald Trump's well-documented and disturbing pattern of inciting violence. Whether he's encouraging threatening behavior against protesters at his rallies or suggesting that 2nd Amendment supporters take action against Hillary Clinton, it's clear Donald Trump is unfit to be Commander in Chief.

Virginia Republicans have largely refused to denounce him - will they finally condemn him for encouraging violent behavior?

All of the GOP gubernatorial candidates have endorsed Trump: will Ed Gillespie, Corey Stewart, Rob Wittman and Frank Wagner condemn him? Will congressional candidates Congresswoman Barbara Comstock and Tom Garrett finally step up to the plate and take a stand against this violent rhetoric?

It's time for Republicans to show Virginians that they reject Donald Trump's violent rhetoric once and for all.
