Virginia Mercury: Earle-Sears ‘morally opposed’ to Virginia’s reproductive rights amendment, note shows
VIRGINIA – On the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, remember that Winsome Earle-Sears has an extreme record attacking reproductive rights, including leaving a handwritten note that she is “morally opposed” to the constitutional amendment that would protect reproductive freedom in Virginia, including contraception, abortion, and IVF.
“Winsome Earle-Sears has a dangerous record on reproductive rights from supporting a near-total abortion ban to telling Virginia women to make their choices before they are pregnant. Sears owes answers to Virginia women on why she doesn’t trust Virginia women to make decisions about their own bodies,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
