• Inspired by Sears: This week, after Sears said Donald Trump’s attacks aren’t “real issues” the Democratic Party of Virginia announced the “Real Issues” Tour, a series of events across the Commonwealth highlighting the devastating fallout of Donald Trump’s attacks on Virginia jobs that Winsome Earle-Sears backs. The tour will feature Virginia Veterans and workers who have been fired since Trump’s attacks on Virginia jobs began.

Winsome’s Losses:

• Pants on Fire: In a new interview with CNN, when asked about the hundreds of thousands of Virginians who are facing healthcare cuts as a result of the Trump tax bill Winsome Earle-Sears backed, Sears outright lied saying “there are no Virginians who are going to lose Medicaid coverage in Virginia unless that's something that they choose” and then claimed “we're not taking anyone off the Medicaid rolls.”

• Slammed for Survey: Following new reporting that Winsome Earle-Sears supports letting people get fired just for being gays, Chair of the Virginia Senate Commerce and Labor Committee Senator Creigh Deeds slammed Sears for her dangerous and illegal position. Senator Adam Ebbin, the first openly gay member of the Virginia House of Delegates and State Senate, released a statement calling out Sears for the survey responses.

• “Earle-Sears Would ‘Push For Extreme Abortion Restrictions’”: As Winsome Earle-Sears continues to push her extreme agenda rolling back reproductive rights and supporting abortion bans, Virginians are calling her out and committing to supporting Abigail Spanberger, a leader who will protect Virginia women's fundamental freedoms. 

•  “Real Issues” in Richmond: On Thursday, local elected leaders and a Virginia veteran launched the “Real Issues” tour, highlighting the devastating fallout of Donald Trump’s attacks on Virginia jobs that Winsome Earle-Sears backs and the real issues Virginians are now facing.
