VIRGINIA – It’s been another week of losses for Winsome Earle-Sears. From making the front page of the newspaper for her antics dodging the media to her dismissive comments making billboards in Hampton Roads.
SETTLING THIS WEEK’S SCORE
Winsome’s Wins:
- “Withholding Winsome:” This week, Sears made the front page of the Charlottesville Daily Progress for dodging questions about her extreme record after Virginians called her out for her schemes to gut public education earning her the headline “Withholding Winsome.”
- Winsome's Job Killing Agenda in Lights: Virginia Democrats launched three billboards along I-64 highlighting Winsome Earle-Sears downplaying and defending the Trump Administration’s attacks on Virginia jobs. With nearly 52,000 federal employees, the Hampton Roads region is home to the third largest number of federal employees in the country who will drive by the billboards daily.
Winsome’s Losses:
- 100 Days, 100% Not Standing up for Virginians: Throughout the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s second term, Winsome Earle-Sears has repeatedly cheered on Trump’s agenda from defending Trump’s attacks on Virginia jobs to calling Trump’s tariffs which have caused chaos for Virginia businesses “good” and a “benefit.”
- Questions That Need Answers: Tonight at midnight is the deadline for action on the Right to Contraception Act, and Winsome Earle-Sears still owes Virginians answers on why she “couldn’t resist” voting against a bill that would guarantee Virginia women access to birth control and contraception.
And with Winsome, it’s Virginians who stand to lose the most:
- With Winsome Earle-Sears focused on an extreme agenda backing ongoing attacks on Virginia jobs and workers, defunding public schools, and ripping away reproductive rights, Virginians stand to lose the most.
