DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker Statement on Ruling in House of Delegates Redistricting Case

RICHMOND, VA - DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker released the following statement in response to a federal court's ruling this afternoon in Bethune-Hill v. Virginia State Board of Elections.

"The Democratic Party of Virginia is greatly encouraged by today's decision. Virginia voters deserve fair voting lines. This ruling is a great step forward in getting rid of politically-drawn, gerrymandered House of Delegate districts in the Commonwealth. It is truly a win for all Virginians."
