DPVA outraises RPV by 4-1 margin in first half of 2018; DPVA cash on hand $142,732, RPV cash on hand $947

Richmond, VA – On the heels of 2017's  Northam-Fairfax-Herring Sweep and the historic Democratic gains in the House of Delegates, the Democratic Party of Virginia has carried that momentum into 2018, raising $561,282 compared to the Republican Party of Virginia's $127,941. The RPV has just $947 cash on hand, in comparison to the DPVA’s $142,732 cash on hand.

While Virginia Republicans deal with the  dilemma of Corey Stewart and the abrupt resignation of RPV Chairman John Whitbeck, Virginia Democrats control all 5 statewide elected offices and have a track record of delivering for Virginians on the issues they care about. The DPVA's huge financial advantage is just another example of Democratic momentum heading into November's election.

The message couldn’t be clearer. Virginia Democrats are crushing Republicans at every turn, and more importantly Virginians across the Commonwealth are ready to beat Republicans where it matters most - at the ballot box this November.
