DPVA Statement on Gillespie's Campaign Stops Today
Richmond -- Democratic Party of Virginia spokesman Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on Gillespie's campaign stops today:

"At this point, the only surrogate who could actually drag Ed Gillespie over the finish line is Donald Trump. Instead of attending a Bikers for Trump event today with the GOP ticket, Gillespie chose to bring in Senator Rob Portman who last year rescinded his endorsement of Trump.

"That's two slaps in the face from the Republican gubernatorial nominee to the Republican President."
