The Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) Chairwoman Susan Swecker released the following statement after the conclusion of the Presidential Town Hall between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump:

“Donald Trump thinks this is a game. In Trump’s world, the American people, our allies abroad, our economic stability, and our military – the greatest military in the world – are the losers. Trump is far beneath the Office of the President – someone who doesn’t even have the restraint and temperament to listen, let alone lead. The revelations that preceded this debate prove that Trump's lack of decency is limitless and unbecoming of anyone that wishes to be president.

“Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate to be president. The American people need and want a leader who has a plan to move our country forward – Hillary is the only candidate to offer a forward-looking vision and plans to deliver results to Virginia families. Tonight proved once again that Hillary has the judgment, experience, and steadiness to serve as our Commander-in-Chief.”
