Today on CNN, U.S. Rep. Donald McEachin and House Democratic Leader David J. Toscano called out Donald Trump for what Toscano called a “colossal failure of leadership” in the wake of Saturday’s violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville.
Congressman McEachin said, “The President of the United States is not acting like the president of all the United States. He's acting more like the president of alt right.”
Yesterday on CNN, Republican nominee for Attorney General John Adams repeatedly refused to criticize Trump’s failure to immediately condemn white supremacists. Meanwhile, Ed Gillespie has remained silent and refused to criticize Trump or to disavow Corey Stewart for his defense of white nationalists, whom he said were “unfairly singled out.”
