Today, the Democratic Party of Virginia is launching a new microsite --TrumpGillespie2017.com -- to highlight the Trump-Gillespie ticket and the Trump agenda that Ed Gillespie is expected to bring to Richmond.

“Virginia needs a governor to stand up to Donald Trump -- not stand alongside him like Ed Gillespie,” said DPVA spokeswoman Christina Freundlich. “Gillespie endorsed Trump, asked Trump to campaign for him, and even bragged about his friends working in the Trump administration.

“From Trumpcare to the Muslim ban to restricting access to women’s health, a vote for Ed Gillespie is a vote for Donald Trump, which is why Virginians need to elect Ralph Northam as the next governor of the Commonwealth.”
