Richmond, VA — Tonight, Virginia Republicans gathered at Liberty University for a Gubernatorial Candidate Forum where they spent the evening espousing their out of touch views and support for extreme, far-right policies. After this disastrous forum, the Democratic Party of Virginia released the following statement from spokesman Manuel Bonder:

“On stage tonight, we heard support for deranged election conspiracy theories, hard line opposition to any gun safety reforms, and zero plans for beating COVID-19 or protecting Virginians’ health care. Tonight’s forum was yet another example of why every single Republican candidate for governor is too extreme for Virginia.”
