DPVA STATEMENT ON JUDGE'S RULING IN SCOTT TAYLOR FORGERY SCANDAL HEARING

RICHMOND, VA - DPVA Communications Director Jake Rubenstein released the following statement in response to today's Circuit Court ruling that found "out and out fraud" in the Scott Taylor Petition Forgery episode and that disallowed third party candidate Taylor and his team assisted from being on the VA-02 ballot.

"Today, Judge Gregory Rupe in Richmond Circuit Court found 'forgery...perjury and out and out fraud.' Today’s decision is win for the integrity of our elections.

Rep. Scott Taylor and his staff refused to answer questions about who directed these fraudulent actions.

So many questions now rest squarely with Congressman Taylor, who did not get the result he wanted of having a third party candidate on the ballot. Rep. Taylor owes his constituents answers about his involvement in the fraud and forgery cited by the judge."
