Today, Democratic Party of Virginia Chairwoman Susan Swecker released the following statement:

“Last night, the Republican National Committee did the unthinkable by openly backing Roy Moore, a certifiably creepy old man that our mamas spent years warning us about. I am confident that the Republican Party of Virginia will denounce Roy Moore and the RNC and send a message to Virginians that they actually have the good family values they always talk about. The choice is simple — do they stand with the good people with values on both sides of the aisle, people like Mitt Romney and John Kasich, or do they stick with Roy and the RNC?"
